On 07-11-08 at approximately 0107 hours, (2) unknown Armed and Masked Suspects entered into the Business Entity, The Hot Spot, located at 1431 S. Nova Rd.

S-1, who was holding a Shotgun, entered inside the business first and was followed by S-2, who was holding a firearm. Once inside, S-1 went to the front of the business while S-2 stood about midway aiming the firearm at patrons still inside. S-1 made contact with V-1, Eric Kurland, stating give me the money while aiming the shotgun at him. V-1, Anna Kurland, the Shift Manager, said to S-1, I’ll give you the money. S-1 aimed the shotgun at V-1 and followed her to the inside office saying “Bitch, hurry up”! S-1 gave V-1 a black cloth bag and told V-1 to get the money from out of the cash register and under the drawer and put it in the black bag. S-1 then told V-1 to get the money out of the safe but V-1 told him that she did not have the key to the safe. S-1 then turned and ran out of the office and then both suspects left the business. V-1 stated that the suspects ran northbound through the parking lot out of sight. The suspects got away with an undetermined amount in cash.

S-1 is described as possibly a black male, approximately 5’09” tall, medium build, wearing a dark ski-type mask with only the eyes and mouth area open. The clothing was a dark colored shirt, maybe short sleeve, with dark pants and black and white sneakers.

S-2 is described as possibly a black male with a dark shirt and pants. S-2 possibly had panty hose over his face as a mask.
