On July 8, 2008, at approximately 12:09am, a shooting occurred in the 400 block of North Atlantic Avenue. The incident began at the Parking Garage when the victimís got into a verbal argument with the male and female suspects. As the victimís were exiting the north side of the garage the suspect vehicle was seen coming down the ramp behind them at a high rate of speed. The victimís then went northbound on Atlantic Avenue, when the suspect vehicle approached from behind, then went into the outside lane of Atlantic Avenue in the 400 block. At this time the male backseat passenger heard the white female driver say something and then saw a black semi-auto handgun. The victim saw the gun fire and he felt his legs go numb, at which time the victim vehicle jumped the curb and came to rest in the 600 block of Oakridge Boulevard. There were 4 bullet holes found in the passenger side of the victim vehicle and the male backseat passenger was struck twice (non-life threatening injuries).

The suspects and vehicle are described as follows, (the Driver and possible shooter) a W/F. 5'7", long blonde hair, 120-130 lbs, thin build, white tank top and black shorts. (The Passenger) a W/M, 6', 150lbs, thin build, short brown hair, red T- Shirt, black shorts. The Vehicle is a small to mid-size black or blue 4 dr., possibly a Honda or a Cadillac.
