DAYTONA BEACH — The search for a suspect in Tuesday's drive-by shooting has heated up.

Daytona Beach police are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Rakim “Cash” Watson, 27. They say he is possibly driving a 2008 silver 2-door Audi with dark tinted windows bearing temporary tag BPS7182.

He is suspected as one of three men involved in Tuesday's drive-byshooting that injured four people on Sheridan Road.

His brother, RicardoWatson, 28, has already been arrested in the incident.

Police Chief Mike Chitwood said Wednesday that three men opened fire from a car Tuesday night about 11:30 as they drove by a house on the 1000 block of Sheridan Road.

The three suspects then sped off in a white Hyundai, Chitwood said.

“We believe this is in retaliation to the Deandre Smith killing on the bridge,” the chief said, referring to the fatal shooting of the 24-yearold Smith on May 10, 2015, on the Oakridge Boulevard bridge.

Watson is a 6-foot-tall, 190-pound black man.His last known address is 9 Reine Place in Palm Coast.
